How often do you change your brake fluid? If you can't remember, it's time.
Brake fluid is hygroscopic: it absorbs moisture from the air. Over time, the accumulated water reduces the fluid's boiling point. The result? During hard or prolonged braking (descending a mountain pass, on the motorway), the fluid can boil and create vapor bubbles. This translates to a pedal that sinks without braking – what's known as 'fading'.
Manufacturers recommend changing brake fluid every 2 years or 40,000 km. However, most drivers never do it until they notice a problem. And when you notice it, it's already too late.
What does it include?
- Brake fluid DOT4 premium high boiling temperature
- Complete bleeding of all 4 wheels - all old fluid is removed
- Checking the level and tightness of the circuit
- Brake test before delivery
- Time: 45 minutes - you can wait at the workshop
Benefits
- Guaranteed safe braking: new fluid = maximum boiling point
- You eliminate the risk of fading during hard braking
- Only 35? all inclusive - the cheapest and most important safety maintenance
- 45 minutes and done: without leaving the car all day
- At the dealership: 80-120? for the same reason
- Protection for lock cylinders and calipers: moisture in the fluid corrodes the internal components
Why Zamule Cars?
At our workshop in Palma (Gremi Fusters 11), we bleed the entire circuit - all 4 wheels. Many workshops only bleed the rear ones to save time. We don't cut corners when it comes to brakes.
