Fugas de aire acondicionado del coche: causas, detección y solución

If you recharge the gas and it blows hot again after a few weeks, you don't need to "refill again": you have a leak. This is how we find and fix it.

Why does the A/C gas leak?

The circuit loses gas through seals, valves, the condenser (due to road stones), or the compressor. This is normal with age, especially here in Mallorca given the intensive use during summer.

How do we detect the leak (without guessing)

We pressurize the circuit with nitrogen and add UV dye. Using a lamp, we pinpoint the exact leak. No 'recharge and see if it lasts' approach here.

The correct solution

We replace the leaking part (valve, condenser, pipe, or compressor), vacuum to remove moisture, and recharge with the exact amount of R134a or R1234yf. 6-month warranty.

Is your AC not cooling?

We diagnose and fix it for you at Zamule Cars Palma. No appointment needed, 12-month warranty, any make.

Frequently asked questions

Is just refilling the gas enough?

Only if there's no leak. If there is, it's a waste of money: it needs to be repaired.

What fuel does my car use?

Before 2017, it's usually R134a; afterwards, R1234yf. We detect it by year and model.

How much does it cost?

From 89?; the leak diagnosis is discounted if you repair with us.
