We explain point by point what they check and how to prepare.<\/p>\n<h3>What do they check at the ITV?<\/h3>\n<p>The vehicle technical inspection assesses the safety, emissions, and overall condition of the vehicle across approximately 80 control points, grouped into: vehicle identification, bodywork and chassis, engine and transmission, steering system, braking system, tyres and suspension, lighting and signalling, pollutant emissions, and noise.<\/p>\n<h3>The most common reasons for rejection<\/h3>\n<p>Defective lighting (blown bulbs, poorly adjusted or opaque headlights) is the number one cause of rejection.
